This is a standard 12-bunk hut in western Fiordland.
Know before you go
Prevent the spread of didymo
Didymo is present in Lake Te Anau and Eglinton River, but is not currently in the pristine Junction Burn or Doon River or Lake Hankinson. All visitors should take precautions to avoid transporting didymo when on these waterways, including when swimming/fishing/boating/kayaking. Do not take water from these areas and avoid filling water bottles. More information about preventing the spread of freshwater pests in Fiordland National Park.
